Online and in-person psychotherapy for adults
Flexible sessions in Milton Keynes or online across the UK.
Hi, I’m Helen
I’m a trainee psychotherapist working with adults (18+) both online and face to face in Buckinghamshire. I offer one-to-one sessions for those seeking support in navigating life’s challenges. My approach is humanistic, rooted in curiosity and authenticity, and I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we explore what matters to you at a pace that feels manageable.
My aim is to provide a calm, respectful space where you can pause and reflect, and be heard without judgement.
I work with adults facing a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, low mood, bereavement, and family difficulties. I also support people navigating life changes, personal challenges, burnout, loneliness, stress, and low self-worth. Therapy is not only for moments of crisis; it can also help you maintain your mental health and wellbeing before things reach a tipping point.
Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels right for you. I am committed to an equal-opportunities practice, offering my services to all individuals over the age of 18, irrespective of their gender, nationality, culture, sexuality, social class, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, status or any other characteristic.
Whoever you are and whatever you bring, you will be met with openness and respect. I offer one-to-one sessions online for anyone across the UK, and in-person sessions in Milton Keynes, with the intention of creating a setting where you can feel understood and supported.

Experience and training
I’m currently training towards an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute and have completed a Certificate in Therapeutic Skills and Studies. I have been signed off to see clients in private practice as a psychotherapist in training.
Since 2024 I have been supporting clients face-to-face and online in a local, community-based counselling service. I am a trainee member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and work under regular supervision in line with professional ethical standards. I continue to develop my skills through ongoing professional training, including training in traumatic attachment, working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and the impact of the use of AI in psychotherapy.
This ongoing learning supports my work as a trainee therapist and ensures my practice is informed, safe, and responsive to the needs of the people I work with. I am also enhanced DBS checked for your safety and reassurance.
